Designing a Better Future at The Market, Bonnyrigg

The Market, Bonnyrigg is our stunning new development of two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom townhouses. At MNM Developments our aim is to convey luxury modern living through the design of our showhomes; this is our design story.

With the intention of supporting local businesses, we asked Edinburgh based design firm, “Get Fully Furnished” to create eye-catching interiors for both showhomes at The Market, Bonnyrigg.

The Director of Get Fully Furnished, Ronnie Kennedy was recently interviewed by The Edinburgh Reporter, stating:

“We were absolutely delighted to hear from MNM Developments (Scot) Ltd at The Market, and to work with them on this exciting project. We know a lot about the company from the various builds they’ve completed in and around the Capital. This discerning, award-winning brand is a perfect fit for what we try to achieve for our clients. We believe the design, furniture and overall look we specified in both properties suited The Market’s target audience in conveying a lifestyle to suit.”

Ronnie also explained to the Edinburgh Reporter that the design brief we gave him was to create contemporary homes which appeal to a mixed range of buyers and express contemporary, open-plan living while highlighting the developments luxury fixtures and fittings.

Inspired by popular Scandi design themes, our three-bedroom townhouse was brought to life. Bright colours offset by soft textures gave the showhome a more family feel, especially in the large open-plan living and dining area.

The two-bedroom apartment, however, was designed with young-professionals in mind. An industrial grey pallet with pops of orange took centre stage. Again, textures played an important role in the design, with some beautiful dark wood pieces used to create focal points throughout the apartment.
